Gingerbread Snowflakes Recipe

Ingredients
All purpose flour (5c), water (1/4c), sugar (1c), butter, softened (1c), molasses (1c), salt (1tsp), ground allspice (1/2tsp), ground cinnamon (1 1/2tsp), baking soda (1 1/2tsp), ground ginger (2 1/2tsp).
For Frosting:- Vanilla extract (1/2tsp), light corn syrup (1 1/2tsp), water (1/4c), confectioner sugar (3 3/4c).

Method Of Preparation:-
Take a large bowl, beat sugar and butter in it until it becomes light and fluffy. Then add water and molasses in it and beat it. Take a bowl, mix flour, salt, allspice, cinnamon, soda and ginger in it and then add this mixture into the creamed mixture and mix it properly. Cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator. Then roll it out in lightly floured surface to ΒΌ- inch thickness and then cut it to make cookies of 2 1/2- inch with a cutter. Take an ungreased baking sheet, place the cookies on it and bake them for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees F. then place them on wire rack to cool. Take a small bowl, mix all the Ingredients of frosting in it and mix them until the mixture becomes smooth. Put the mixture in a plastic bag, cut a small hole in the corner of bag and then p[ipe the frosting on the cookies.

Makes about 5 dozens cookies
