Hearty Halibut Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
Halibut cut into 1 inch cubes (2pounds), heavy cream (1/2c), red pepper flakes (1 pinch or to taste), shredded cheddar cheese (1/2c), salt and pepper (to taste), milk (1 1/2c), shredded carrots (2large), stewed tomatoes, diced (1can), chicken stock (6c), minced garlic (2cloves), peeled and cubed potatoes (2large), finely diced onion (1large), unsalted butter (1tbsp).

Method Of Preparation:-
Take a large pot, melt the butter in it over medium heat. Add onion in it and cook them for about 5 minutes or until they get soften and translucent. Add potatoes and garlic and keep on cooking until the potatoes get soften slightly about 10 minutes. Add chicken stock, carrots and tomatoes. Keep it to boil and then reduce the heat to medium low. Cover the pot and keep it to simmer for 10 minutes. Add milk and cream and season it according to taste with salt and pepper. Then add halibut and keep on simmering uncovered until the halibut gets flaky for about 10 minutes. Gently mix the cheddar cheese and red pepper flakes until the cheese get melted. When it gets redy then serve it immediately.
