1. Eggs separated (2)
2. baking powder (2 tsp)
3. flour (2 cups)
4. milk (3/4 cup)
5. sugar (1 cup)
6. butter (1/2 cup)
7. vanilla extract (1 tsp)
8. salt (1/4 tsp)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, cream butter and sugar in it and then add egg yolks. Beat the mixture thoroughly.
2. Take another bowl, sieve flour, salt and baking powder in it. Add flour mixture alternately with milk into the creamed mixture. Beat both the mixture properly. Add vanilla in it and then add beaten egg whites in it. Then pour the mixture into the greased and floured cake pans.
3. Now place the pans in the oven and bake them for about 25 minutes at 375 degrees F. Take out the pans from oven and keep them to cool. When the cake gets cool then put the layers together. Fill the layers or frost the cake according to your desire.
