Chinese Toffee Apple Recipe

Ingredients
Firm apples (2 med. Size), corn flour (1tbsp), salt (1/2tsp), oil (3c), water (2tbsp), sugar (1 1/3), chilled lemon juice (2tbsp), chilled water (2c), roasted black sesame seeds (4tbsp), egg whites (2).

Method Of Preparation:-
Take apples, peel and core them and then cut them into 4 to 6 pieces. Take a bowl, put the apple pieces in it and then add 2 cups of chilled water, salt and lemon juice in it. Take a bowl, beat eggs whites and corn flour in it until the mixture gets smooth. Now drain the apple pieces and pat dry them. Take a pan, heat oil in it until it gets smoking hot. Take apple pieces, dip them in egg batter and then fry them until they get golden brown color. Take out the fried apple pieces from the pan and then drain off the excess oil. Take a small pan, place it over high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of water and sugar in it. Cook it by stirring until the sugar gets dissolve and then add 1 tablespoon of oil and keep it to boil by stirring regularly until the syrup gets hardens when drop in cold water. Now coat the fried apple pieces in syrup. Take a plate, grease it with oil and then place the apple pieces in it. Take a large bowl of ice water, put the sugar coated apple pieces in it and at once take them out to a lightly greased serving dish. Dust the sesame seeds over the apple pieces.
