Chocolate Upside Down Cake Recipe

1. Unsifted all purpose flour (1c)
2. milk (1/2c)
3. sugar (3/4c)
4. salt (1/2tsp)
5. baking powder (2tsp)
6. butter (2tbsp)
7. unsweetened chocolate (2 squares)
8. vanilla extract (1tsp)
Topping:-
1. Unsweetened cocoa powder (1tbsp)
2. sugar (1/2c)
3. packed brown sugar (1/2c)
4. boiling water (3/4c)
Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a square baking pan of 8*8 inch, grease and flour the pan and keep it aside.
2. Take a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in it. Take a saucepan, melt chocolate and butter in it over low heat. Add the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture with vanilla and milk. Beat this mixture thoroughly until it gets smooth. Pour this batter into the greased pan with spoon.
3. For Topping; take a bowl, mix cocoa, brown sugar and sugar in it and sprinkle it over the batter in the pan. Then pour the boiling water over all.
4. Now place the pan in oven and bake it for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Take out the pan from oven and keep it to cool on wire rack. Take a plate, invert the chocolate cake on it so that cake makes it own topping. When the cake gets ready then serve it warm or cold.
