Easy Cuajada Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cuajada mix (2envelops)
2. granulated sugar (6 heaping teaspoons)
3. half and half (1/2liter about 16 oz)
4. milk (1/2 liter about 16 oz)
5. butter or margarine (1cube)
6. Maria Crackers (1pkg. or 140 gms)
7. Sliced fresh fruits or 1 cup of berry sauce (for topping)

Method Of Preparation:-
1. Take Maria crackers, crush about ¾ of the package of crackers into crumbs. Take a 9.5 glass pie pan, place cracker crumbs in it. Melt butter in a microwave and then pour it over the crumbs in the pie pan and mix it properly. Then press the mixture on the bottom and the sides of the pan and then keep the pan aside.

2. Take a saucepan of medium size, pour 1 cup of half and half and milk in it and keep it to boil. Meanwhile pour the reserved half-and-half into the measuring cup and mix it with the contents of cuajada envelopes.

3. When the milk starts boiling then add the cuajada mixture in it and stir it regularly and add sugar. When the mixture starts boiling then take off the pan from heat. Keep it to cool for about 5 to 7 minutes. Gently pour this mixture into the crust and keep it to cool for about 15 minutes.

4. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to chill. Place the sliced fresh fruits or berry sauce on the top of the cake. Now it is ready to serve.
