French Apple Pie With Cream Cheese Topping Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (1c)
2. baking soda (1tsp)
3. ground nutmeg (1tsp)
4. ground cinnamon (1tsp)
5. salt (1/4tsp)
6. egg (1)
7. white sugar (1c)
8. butter, softened (1/4c)
9. vanilla extract (1/2tsp)
10. unsalted butter, softened (3tbsp)
11. cream cheese, softened (3 ounce)
12. hot water (2tbsp)
13. vanilla extract (1tsp)
14. diced apples without peel (2 1/2c)
15. chopped walnuts (1/2c)
16. confectioner sugar (1 1/2c)

Method of preparation:-

1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Take a pie pan of 9-inch, grease it. Take a bowl, mix ¼ cup of butter, egg, white sugar, salt, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, flour, apples, nuts, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and hot water in it.

2. Mix all these ingredients properly to form thick batter. Then pour this mixture into the greased pie pan. Place the pan in oven and bake it at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes. Then take out the pie from the oven and keep it aside.

3. Now to prepare frosting, take a bowl, beat cream cheese, sifted confectioner sugar, ½ teaspoon of vanilla, 3 tablespoons of butter in it. Beat this mixture until it becomes smooth. Serve it hot or warm over the pie or place it in the refrigerator to set and then serve it over apple pie.
