German Cornmeal Sausage Muffins Recipe

1. Unbleached flour (1c)
2. milk (1 1/4c)
3. sugar (1tbsp)
4. pepper (1/4tsp)
5. salt (1/2tsp)
6. baking powder (4tsp)
7. cornmeal (1c)
8. German sausage, cooked and sliced thick (1)
9. safflower oil (1/3c)
10. egg (1)
Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 425 degrees F. Take a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cornmeal, sugar, pepper and salt in it. Mix all these ingredients well.
2. Take a small bowl, mix egg, safflower oil and milk in it. Immediately combine both the mixture and mix it well.
3. Take greased muffin pans, fill the muffins half full with batter and then place a slice of cooked German sausage in the center and then pour more batter over it.
4. Place the muffin pans in oven and bake them for about 18 minutes at 425 degrees F. When the muffin gets baked then take them out from oven and keep them to cool and then serve them.
