Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (3 3/4c)
2. ground cinnamon (1)
3. finely chopped walnuts (2/3c)
4. sugar (1 3/4c)
5. vanilla extract (2tsp)
6. sour cream (1 container about 16 ounce)
7. eggs (3large)
8. butter or margarine, softened (1 stick about 1/2c)
9. salt (3/4tsp)
10. baking soda (1tsp)
11. baking powder (2tsp)
12. sugar (2/3c)

Method of preparation:-

1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a tube pan of 9 to 10- inch with removable bottom, grease and dust with flour.

2. Take a small bowl, mix cinnamon, walnuts and 2/3 cup of sugar in it. Take another bowl, mix flour, salt, soda and baking powder in it.

3. Take a large bowl, beat rest of 1 ¾ cups of sugar and butter in it with a mixer at low speed. Then increase the speed to high and beat it for about 2 minutes until it becomes creamy. Now turn down the speed to low, add eggs in it one by one and beat it after each addition.

4. Add the flour mixture alternately with sour cream mixture into the egg mixture. Beat it until it becomes smooth and then add vanilla in it.

5. Put the batter with spoon in greased tube pan and dust ½ cup of nut mixture over it. Then spread the rest of batter over it and then dust the nuts again over it.

6. Place the pan in oven and bake it for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. Place the pan for 10 minutes on wire rack to cool and then remove the cake from the pan. Place the cake on wire rack to cool completely. Then sprinkle nut mixture on top and serve it.
