Spicy Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

For Cake:-
1. All purpose flour (2c)
2. eggs (3large)
3. vanilla extract (1tsp)
4. butter or margarine, softened (3/4c about 1 ½ stick)
5. granulated sugar (1 1/4c)
6. Semi-Sweet chocolate morsels (1c about 6 oz)
7. diced jalapenos (1 to 2 tbsp)
8. milk (1c)
9. salt (1/2tsp)
10. baking soda (1tsp)
11. ground cinnamon (1tbsp)

For Rich Chocolate Frosting:-
1. Pre melted unsweetened chocolate flavor (2 packets about 1 oz each)
2. butter or margarine, softened (1/4c about ½ stick)
3. milk (1/3c)
4. sifted powdered sugar (3 to 3 1/4c)
5. vanilla extract (2tsp)
6. salt (1/4tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a baking pan of 13*9 inches, grease it.

2. For Cake; take a microwave-safe bowl of medium size, add morsels in it and microwave uncovered on high power for 1 minute. Stir it. If necessary then microwave it for more 10 to 15 seconds by stirring until the morsels get melted.

3. Take a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in it until it gets creamy. Add eggs in it and beat for 1 minute and then add the melted chocolate in it and beat it.

4. Take a bowl of medium size, mix flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in it. Add this mixture to the chocolate mixture with milk and beat it. Mix jalapenos in it, if desired. Now pour the mixture into the greased pan.

5. Place the pan in oven and bake it for about 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees F until the tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Keep it to cool in pan for about 20 minutes and then invert the cake on wire rack to cool it completely.

6. For Chocolate Frosting; take a small mixing bowl, beat choco bake, butter, milk and powdered sugar, salt and vanilla extract in it until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy frost cake.
