Strawberry Cake and Icing Recipe

For Cake:-
1. Frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed (1/2 of a 10 oz pkg.)
2. eggs (4)
3. water (1/2c)
4. cooking oil (1c)
5. strawberry gelatin (1pkg.)
6. 2-layer-size white cake mix (1pkg.)
For Icing:-
1. Frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed (1/2 of a 10 oz pkg.)
2. powdered sugar (1box)
3. margarine, softened (1stick)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, place cake mix, ½ cup of strawberries, eggs, water, oil and gelatin in it. Mix all these ingredients properly and keep the bowl aside.
2. Take a baking pan of 9*13-inch, grease and floured it. Pour the mixture into the greased pan. Place the pan in oven and bake it for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F. Take out the pan from oven and keep the cake to cool completely and then ice it.
3. For Cream; take a bowl, beat margarine in it and then gradually add powdered sugar in it and mix it until it becomes smooth.
4. Drain off the strawberries from syrup. Add the berries in margarine and sugar mixture beat the mixture and add enough syrup to get the desired consistency and then spread it over the cooled cake.
