Apricot And Custard Ice-Cream Recipe

1. Milk (500ml)
2. fresh cream (1/2c)
3. dried apricots, soaked for 4 to 6 hours (1c)
4. vanilla flavored custard powder (1tbsp)
5. sugar (1/3c)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take apricots, deseeded them and then boil them in a pan, keep them to cool completely and then drain them and keep them aside.
2. Take a bowl, add ½ cup of cold milk in it and dissolve the custard powder in it and then keep it aside.
3. Take a non stick pan, put milk and sugar in it and keep it to boil. Now add the custard powder mixture, reduce the heat to low and keep it to simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes until the custard gets thick. If the mixture gets lumpy then strain it.
4. Keep it to cool completely and then add the apricots and cream and mix it properly. Divide it into two parts. Churn each part separately in a blender. Place it into a shallow container. Cover it and freeze it until it get firm and then serve it.
