Bandhakopir Ghonto Recipe

Ingredients
1. Potatoes, boiled and cut into cubes (2medium)
2. finely chopped cabbage (1)
3. fresh green peas (1c)
4. oil (as needed)
5. turmeric powder (1tsp)
6. grounded panch phoran (1tsp)
7. cumin powder (1tsp)
8. salt (to taste)
9. coriander powder (1tsp)
10. red chili powder ( 1 1/2tsp)
11. ginger-garlic-green chili paste (1tbsp)
12. bay leaves (2)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a pan, place it over heat. Heat oil in it and add potatoes in it and then fry them until they turn golden brown. Take out them from pan and keep them aside.

2. Now fry the ginger-garlic-green chili paste and bay leaves in the pan until the raw smell disappears. Add chopped cabbage in it and then add water. Keep it to cook until the cabbage gets soft.

3. Then mix peas, fried potatoes, panch phoran, coriander, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin and salt in it. Mix all these ingredients properly and then and then cover the pan and keep it to cook by stirring for about 5 to 6 minutes. Now take off the pan from heat and serve the dish with rice.
