Gujrati Kadhi Recipe

Ingredients
1. Besan (4tsp)
2. sour curd (2c)
3. oil (2tsp)
4. chopped green chillies (2)
5. chopped ginger (1/2inch)
6. salt (to taste)
7. coriander leaves (a handful)
8. cinnamon powder (1/2tsp)
9. turmeric powder (1 pinch)
10. water (2c)

For seasoning:-
1. Curry leaves (a few)
2. cumin seeds (1/4tsp)
3. asafoetida (a pinch)
4. mustard seeds (1/4tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, beat curd with 2 cups of water in it. Add salt, besan and turmeric powder in it. Mix it well. Grind ginger, cinnamon, green chilies and coriander leaves in a mixer to make a paste.

2. Take a vessel, place it over low heat. Boil the curd mixture in it by stirring it and then add the grounded paste in the vessel. Again boil it.

3. Take a pan, place it over heat. Heat oil in it and then add all the seasonings in it. Fry them until they get splutter. Immediately pour this seasoning mixture over the Gujarati Kadhi.

4. When the kadhi gets ready then garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice.
