Kesar Phirni Recipe

1. Milk (500ml)
2. rice flour (75gms)
3. green cardamom (8, powdered)
4. almonds (25gms)
5. pistachios (25gms)
6. saffrons (a few strands)
7. sugar (50gms)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a pan, boil milk in it so that it reduces to half its quantity. Add rice flour to the milk and then mix it well so that no lumps are formed. Add sugar and again cook it for sometime to dissolve the sugar.
2. Take some warm water dissolve the saffron in it and add this to the above mixture. Now the phirni gets ready. Add powdered green cardamom in it. Pour it in earthen bowls and then garnish it with almonds and pistachios. Keep it to cool and then set it in the refrigerator. When it gets cold then serve it.
Number of servings – 4 to 6
Preparation time – 20 to 30 minutes
