Khajur Chutney Recipe

Ingredients
1. Dates (15-20)
2. fennel seeds (1/4tsp)
3. tamarind pulp (1c)
4. dry ginger powder (1tsp)
5. black salt (1tsp)
6. red chilli powder (2tsp)
7. jaggery or gur (1/2c)
8. cumin seeds (2tsp)
9. salt (to taste)
10. water (1c)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take dates, remove the stones and then chop them roughly. Take a pan, dry roast the cumin seeds and the fennel seeds. Cool them slightly and then grind them to a powder.

2. Mix together the chopped dates, tamarind pulp, fennel and cumin powder, dry ginger powder, jaggery, red chili powder, rock salt and salt to taste with a cup of water in a pan.

3. Cook them on medium heat until it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and keep on boiling for 6 to 8 minutes. Keep it to cool and serve it.
