Plain Paratha Recipe

Ingredients
1. Whole wheat flour (1c)
2. water (1/2c)
3. ghee (for shallow fry)

Method of preparation:-
1. First to make dough, mix flour and water in a bowl. Make the dough and then knead it until it gets smooth and elastic. Keep it for 30 minutes.

2. After 30 minutes divide the dough into 6 parts and make small balls. Flatten and roll each ball. Spread ghee over them and then fold the sides in the centre. Again roll it.

3. Heat the tawa and then put the paratha on it to cook. After sometime turn the side and cook the other side. Spread the ghee on the other side. Fry until the bottom is crisp and golden.

4. Then turn and fry the other side. Make more parathas in the same way. Serve the parathas at once as the parathas lose its crispness if stored.
