Pumpkin Kofta Curry In Coconut Milk Recipe

Ingredients
1. Coconut (1/4)
2. curds (2tbsp)
3. tomatoes (2large)
4. poppy seeds (1tbsp)
5. onion (1small)
6. ginger piece (1inc)
7. coriander leaves (1 bunch)
8. garlic (4flakes)
9. green chillies (4)
10. turmeric powder (1tsp)
11. sugar (to taste)
12. salt (to taste)
13. chilli powder (to taste)
14. garam masala (1tsp)
15. jeera powder (1tsp)
16. dhania powder (1tsp)
17. oil (3tbsp)

For kofta:-

1. Gram flour (2tbsp)
2. green chillies (2)
3. ginger (1small piece)
4. pumpkin (500gms)
5. cumin seeds powder (1tsp)
6. mint leaves (a few)
7. chilli powder (to taste)
8. raisins (a few)
9. salt (to taste)
10. coriander leaves (1 small bunch)

Method of preparation:-

1. Take pumpkin, peel and grate it in a bowl. Squeeze out its water and then keep it aside. Coarsely grind the chillies, coriander, mint and ginger in a grinder. Mix it in pumpkin bowl.

2. Take a bowl; mix all the ingredients of kofta except raisins in it. Knead this mixture to make it smooth and then make small balls of this mixture around a raisin.

3. Then deep fry these balls of mixture until turn golden brown in color. Drain them and keep them aside. Now make the paste of ginger, garlic, poppy seeds, onion and coconut by grinding them in a grinder.

4. Take a pan, heat 3 tablespoon of oil in it and then fry the ground paste in it. Add all the spices and fry them. Add curds, sugar and tomatoes in it and then cook them.

5. Now put the pumpkin koftas in it and then add hot water in it. Cook it for about 5 minutes. Decorate it with chopped coriander and serve it hot.
