Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti Recipe

2. baking powder (1tsp)
3. white sugar (2/3c)
4. ground cinnamon (1 1/2tsp)
5. butter (6tbsp)
6. salt (1/4tsp)
7. egg (1)
8. egg yolk (1)
9. vanilla extract (1tsp)
10. beaten egg (1)
Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Take a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper. Take a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in it and then keep it aside.
2. Take a medium size bowl, mix butter and sugar in it and then add egg yolk, egg and vanilla in it. Beat this mixture thoroughly. Now add the mixture of dry ingredients in it. Make the dough of this mixture.
3. Place the dough on lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 pieces. Roll each piece into small logs.
4. Take baking sheet and place the logs on this sheet and then flatten the logs slightly. Take beaten egg and brush it over the logs. Now place the sheet in oven and bake it for about 25 to 30 minutes or until it gets golden and firm to touch.
5. Take off the sheet from oven and cool the logs for 15 minutes. Now place the logs on cutting board and cut into diagonal slices with serrated knife.
6. Place the sheet in oven and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes until get crispy or toasted. Take off slices from oven and cool on wire rack and then store in air tight container.
Make about 20 biscotti.
